Wycombe Wanderers would like to thank those supporters who contributed to a grand total of £362.47 for the club's charity of the year, Scannappeal, at Saturday's pre-season friendly with Southend United.
The Blues issued their new-look matchday programme entitled 'The Quarters' at the weekend, with a limited sixteen-page edition being given away for free to Wycombe and Southend fans to offer a glimpse of what they can expect from the publication throughout the forthcoming season.
Supporters were politely asked to offer a small donation to the cancer charity in return for their complimentary programme, and buckets full of cash collected by members of the Wanderers' youth team produced a huge total which will be handed over to representatives of Scannappeal at a meeting on Monday.
The first full edition of 'The Quarters' will be on sale for £2.50 ahead of the League Two fixture with Morecambe on Saturday, and will contain 60 pages including a number of special features and previously unseen photographs.
