Sergio Torres is an extremely talented and popular member of the Blues squad who has starred in the 2007/08 season after two injury-ravaged campaigns with the club.
The Argentine arrived at Adams Park after impressing John Gorman in a pre-season friendly whilst playing for Basingstoke Town.
Having monitored the Argentinean's progress the previous season, the time came for Wanderers to swoop for the 25 year old, who jumped at the chance to be given his first taste of English League football.
After jetting in from his hometown Mar del Plata, Sergio had to endure unsuccessful trials at Brighton, Woking and Molesey before making an impact at Basingstoke.
He signed a two year contract with the non-league side towards the end of 2004/05 but with his ambition evident for all to see, Ernie Howe allowed the one time Boots shelf stacker to take the big leap into League Two.
Sergio signed a deal until July 2008 but was constantly sidelined with injury during his first two seasons with the club, before becoming a virtual ever-present in Paul Lambert's side during the 2007/08 campaign.
