BLUES STARS HONOURED
By Ross Jeavons
Wycombe's potential promotion stars were honoured at Adams Park last night, as the Wanderers held their annual End of Season Awards Dinner.
BBC Breakfast presenter Bill Turnbull was the host as players, management, staff and fans turned out in force to celebrate what could be one of the greatest seasons in recent memory.
Scott McGleish was the night's big winner, picking up both the Players Player of the Season and Goal of the Season awards.

The latter was in recognition of his spectacular volley in the 2-2 draw away with MK Dons, fighting off tough competition from Stefan Oakes and Leon Knight.
Leon Johnson was recognised with the Fans' Player of the Season Award, an honour made all the more impressive when you consider that the centre back has been at the club for just 10 months.
It's been a breathtaking few weeks for 17-year-old Matt Phillips, who picked up the award for First Year Apprentice of the Season just a fortnight after making his first team debut for the Wanderers against Notts County.
And Wycombe's latest young professional, Scott Shulton, picked up the Youth Team Player of the Season whilst George Daly received the award for Most Improved Young Player on behalf of the Wycombe Wanderers Independent Supporters Club.

Christine Barry was given the award for Outstanding Contribution to the Club in recognition for her work in housing young scholars throughout the year.
To end the night Managing Director Steve Hayes also presented a special memento to club Chairman Ivor Beeks, who is celebrating his 20th year at the helm of the club.
