Well it's all getting busy inside Adams Park and with the press flooding through the doors, it's time to call a halt to proceedings as far as this feature goes. Ben will be back at 6pm with the usual Clockwatch updates and look out for team news soon after 5pm, but for now, all that remains to be said is:

Come on Wycombe!

15.30
Media Assistant Matt Cecil has just met today's commentator Ian Darke over in the Sky trucks.

Things are really heating up now as more and more people arrive ahead of tonight's 6pm kick-off. The kits have both been laid out in the respective changing rooms ready for the kick-off and the club shop is open, selling the usual array of excellent goods as well as exclusive play-off merchandise.

Thanks to Nick Hudgell who has emailed us from Marco Island, just south of Naples in South West Florida:

"I had thought that we wouldn't need the playoffs at the beginning of the season - so booked our holiday - but here we are. Thankfully we've found (through some extensive research) an 'English' pub in Naples that will be showing it - so I'll be cheering on the Blues! For a prediction, I think 2-1 to us!"

13:05
We're back in business, and we're currently trying to find out about the roadworks which are taking place just off the roundabout at the end of Hillbottom Road. The club weren't informed they were taking place and it's hoped that they'll be cleared in time for this evening, but it might be worth setting off a little bit earlier for the game.

12:30
There's an interesting omen on the Gasroom which states that the last time England failed to qualify for a major tournament, Wycombe were promoted. Now that the national team will be absent from this summer's Euro 2008, let's hope the Blues can repeat that feat and give us reason to celebrate over the next few months.

We'll be taking a short break from this service now as we relocate to Adams Park, but there is plenty more build-up to come here on wwfc.com.

12:00
Former Wanderers loanee Lionel Ainsworth is in the starting line-up for Watford as they kick-off their Championship play-off match with Hull City on Sky Sports now, while another ex-Blue, goalkeeper Matt Duke, is on the Tigers' bench.

There's been plenty of action on the message boards, with EK Chairboy saying:

"I think we can pinch both games. The only danger is that they are likely to come and try and get a draw at Adams Park. But we should have enough to break them down, with "Delroy the Destroyer". What a loan signing he could end up being. Do hope he signs for next term."

Over on the Gasroom, LB has posted one of the more sensible messages of the day amidst jibes from County fans:

"I think both teams have every right to be confident going into this game and it has the makings of a memorable semi-final. I'm confident we can get a decent result this evening so that we can travel in large numbers up to Edgeley Park, have a great afternoon in the pub in the run-up to the game and hopefully see us through to Wembley.

"The winner of this tie I think has to be favourites for the Wembley final against Dale or Darlo."

11:40
Congratulations to Danny, aka "Dodgy Beaver", who has won the Wanderers' prediction league which has been run throughout the season by fans John Jacobs and Martin Ellingham. Over 100 people took part over the course of the campaign but "Dodgy Beaver" came out on top with 148 points - click here to see the full table.

11:35
Thanks to Mark for this email from the south of France - we feel your pain!

"Can't believe my honeymoon clashes with the most important game of the season! Anybody know how to say "Excuse me, which pubs have Sky Sports?" in French?!"

Are you a Wanderers fan watching today's game from overseas? Let us know by emailing either matt.cecil@wwfc.com, ben.campbell@wwfc.com or ross.jeavons@wwfc.com.

We've been looking back over the play-off stats from the past few years trying to find some sort of pattern but there doesn't seem to be one - it really is down to which teams perform better on the day. It doesn't matter if you finish 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th, or if you play at home or away first - anything can happen over the two legs and in the final. All four teams are there on merit.

11:05
We've just had an email from Dan enquiring about tickets for the away leg. Tickets will go on general sale immediately after today's game but season ticket holders and those fans who have four or more ticket stubs for away games this season can book them before the game by phoning 01494 441118 after 1pm this afternoon.

10:40
There's plenty of banter flying around on the various message boards and a lot of it seems to be from County fans trying to wind up the Blues supporters! But credit to the Wycombe faithful - they're not rising to the bait and are remaining quietly confident for this evening's clash.

We've received an email from Tony in Flackwell Heath saying:

"Can't wait for tonight's game, I've got a feeling we'll score one early goal and one late goal to give us a 2-0 cushion going into the match next week! Let's outsing the Stockport fans and give our lads the best support possible - come on Wycombe!"

09:45
It's a beautiful morning in South Bucks and the perfect conditions for a game of football - let's hope the weather holds up throughout the evening. Darlington beat Rochdale 2-1 in the other semi-final first leg last night with a last-minute winner, and after watching that one live on Sky Sports, we can't wait to get stuck into our very own fixture against the Hatters.

Can anyone shed any light on the story regarding a giant Wycombe flag being paraded through the town centre this afternoon? Keep your stories coming in to the email addresses below; we'd love to hear from you.

09:00
