Paul Lambert has again appealed for Blues fans to turn out in force on Sunday, as the Wanderers look to get off to the best possible start in their crucial play-off semi final.

It's expected that Adams Park will host its biggest crowd of the season as Stockport come to town, and the 'gaffer' is convinced that his side will need every single fan to do his bit.

"It would be brilliant to sell this place out, the last time we did that was when a little team called Chelsea came down and look what happened there," he said.

"We held them to a draw and now they could be European Champions this year. I think that just shows what we have a achieved at this football club."

With no new injury worries reported ahead of Sunday's game, the ex-Celtic man is convinced that his team are up to the task.

"You never know what's going to happen in a game like this but we're ready for it, you can be sure of that. The lads have been brilliant this year and we can definitely do it."
