SWINGING INTO ACTION

Freedom Communications have been crowned the champions of Wycombe Wanderers' latest golf day held at Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
Working in tandem with the event sponsor, Hughes of Beaconsfield, the club recruited 16 teams for the competition and all the teams not only enjoyed playing the 18 hole course, but a round of bacon rolls as well as a post-round meal.
The field included a variety of businesses from the surrounding areas as well as a team made up of Wanderers first team stars, with their trio consisting of Jamie Young, Sam Stockley and Neil Lennon.
The Parcel Company and Creative Print Group performed very well around the course and earned themselves 2nd and 3rd place respectively behind the winners Freedom.
As well as prizes given to the first, second and third placed teams there were also prizes given to the individuals who claimed the longest drive and nearest the pin on the day.
